Subiaco in Western Australia is a suburb steeped in history, from its early beginnings as a thriving commercial area to its present-day status as a cultural hub known for its eclectic architecture, and quaint and leafy residential streets.

At the site where former Subiaco Oval Football Stadium was demolished in 2019 to make way for the Bob Hawke College, a public high school serving the local community, Venture Smart Capital Works team has achieved yet another success in early 2023 by designing, installing, and commissioning the first Extra Low Voltage (eLV) pedestrian crossing in Western Australia.

Full turn-key solution from Venture Smart

The project was completed on behalf of MainRoads WA and the City of Subiaco and was a full turn-key solution from the Venture Smart team, as the company designed, programmed, and built the eLV pedestrian crossing. The team completed all Civil, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) & Electrical works within a tight schedule, before the reopening of the school for the 1,200 students starting high school in 2023.
