Description

Ventia provides asset management and maintenance for the third busiest port in Australia and the nation's fastest growing container port. Built on Fisherman Island, an artificial island reclaimed from the smaller Fisherman Islands group at the mouth of the Brisbane River, the road network includes sections engineered to withstand Super B-double vehicles with 109 tonne loads.

Port of Brisbane covers close to 25 square km and has 34km roads. The port has 29 operating berths, including nine deep-water container berths and three deep-water bulk berths, facilitating over 2,600 ships and transporting more than 28 million tonnes of cargo annually.
