Ventia has been delivering firefighting services to the ADF for more than 20 years, continuously enhancing their capabilities and services.

Description

Ventia operates Australia's largest private firefighting service, covering aviation, structural, and bushfire response. 

With a dedicated team of 309 qualified firefighters, Ventia ensures effective emergency response and safety for the ADF, maintaining high standards and readiness for any situation in any setting or terrain.

Scope of work

  • Fire response: Providing aviation, structural, and bushfire firefighting services to ensure safety across diverse environments. 
  • Search and rescue: Delivering first response support for emergencies, ensuring quick and effective action. 
  • Fire station services: Managing watch room operations, monitoring air traffic control transmissions, following alert protocols, and communicating with pilots. 
  • Dual emergency response: Offering flexible resourcing capabilities tailored to the Defence requirements. 
  • Training and preparedness: Implementing ongoing training programs to maintain high standards and readiness for any situation. 
  • Airfield: Protecting Defence’s air response capability
