Started by Andy Liddle and Ray Laughton in Western Sydney in 1970, ICD has contributed to some of Australia’s major engineering projects. We are extremely proud of our history and will carry this with us in this next step of our evolution as a business.

This evolution has included being a part of Shell Engineering Australasia, Transfield Services, Broadspectrum and Ferrovial before becoming part of Ventia in 2020, one of the largest essential services companies in Australia and New Zealand.

As a part of Ventia, we have been able to offer our clients a broader, deeper platform of experience and capabilities, while continuing to provide best-in-business engineering design and consultancy. This rebrand is a natural step in ensuring clients are aware of this capability and allowing us to improve the service we can provide.
