At Ventia, we are committed to building a culture of fairness, inclusion and respect, where everyone feels safe, valued and empowered to thrive.

Fairness, inclusion, and respect are central to how we lead, work, hire, engage and make decisions. They apply to everyone, regardless of age, cultural heritage, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, marital or family status, religious belief, sexual orientation, socio-economic background or lived experience.

Fairness, Inclusion and Respect is embedded in Ventia's People Strategy and underpinned by our Fairness, Inclusion and Respect Policy, which outlines the behaviours and expectations that guide how we work with our people, partners and communities. Nearly 70% of our people believe Ventia fosters a culture of fairness, inclusion and respect. To build on this foundation, a cross-functional working group drives initiatives that embed inclusive practices and accountability across our operations.

While fairness, inclusion and respect are principles that apply to everyone, we recognise that achieving equitable outcomes requires targeted action. This is why we maintain targeted focus on improving opportunities and representation for women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Māori and Pasifika peoples, and others, alongside other specific initiatives and broader efforts that support all employees to succeed.
