Ventia has been awarded a road maintenance contract by Auckland Transport (AT) for the Auckland West region.
The five-year contract has a five-year extension option and will commence 1 September. It is expected to generate a base contracted value of NZ$220m over the initial term.
Ventia will provide reactive, routine and programmed maintenance and renewal activities across the network, which spans both urban and rural geographies.
Ventia Group Executive Transport David McPadden said that the contract award was testament to Ventia's deep expertise across road maintenance services.
"Ventia is a leading provider of strategic operations and maintenance, asset management and renewal services to the transport sector," said Mr McPadden.
Across New Zealand, our clients have relied on us to manage their complex road networks in safe, reliable ways for more than 30 years.
Mark Lambert, Interim Chief Executive, Auckland Transport said he looked forward to partnering with Ventia to achieve shared outcomes.
"AT's purpose is to create easy journeys, connecting people and communities, and I see strong alignment with Ventia's purpose of making infrastructure work for our communities," said Mr Lambert.
Together, we look forward to making a positive difference to the communities we serve.
