Our Environmental Services team along with partner Teneo are working with the EnergyAustralia team at Mt Piper power station on the construction of an ash repository to ensure the continued safe storage of ash at the energy generation site located in New South Wales.

The project, which will be completed in second quarter of 2025, will assist with improving environmental risk management and help future proof the repository. The project will utilise the combined strengths, skills, people and experience of Ventia and Teneo.

Ventia brings expertise in large complex remediation and rehabilitation with matching project-management teams and systems complemented by Teneo’s lining, containment and bulk earthworks operations capability.

The project includes a number of innovations developed by the team which have been utilised in the final design, a testament to the team’s experience and ability to develop solutions to address specific client challenges.

“We deliver complex, unique and unusual remediation, rehabilitation and waste projects across Australia, including at remote locations,” said Adam Fletcher who is the GM Environmental Services for Ventia.

“This allows us to develop innovative ideas and solutions, backed by our real-world experience and our highly skilled team."

Where specialist services are required, we ensure our clients have access to the best placed suppliers to deliver their needs.
