Congratulations to our Brisbane Motorway Services team, who were recognised as an Innovation award finalist at the 2023 ITS Awards.

The ITS Australia Awards are the industry's most prestigious and are a celebration of excellence in the Intelligent Transport Systems industry.

For more than a decade, the ITS Australia Awards have recognised and celebrated the growing influence of ITS across the transport industry. The Awards showcase the best of Australian ITS, reinforcing the nation's ITS capability and position as a world leader in transport technology development and deployment.

Project Aardvark, an autonomous recovery device, promises to make road networks safer for incident responders and road users involved in breakdowns.  

This innovation eliminates all manual handling in vehicle recovery processes during tilt tray operations while protecting the tilt tray operator. It removes the need for the tilt tray operator to place themselves in any position where they are in danger.
