Ventia has signed on as a foundation member with the Institute for Collaborative Working Australia, the premier organisation supporting the development and growth of collaborative working practices domestically and globally.
Through this membership, we are seeking to build a collaboration framework with our Defence stakeholders, partners, supply chain members and competitors.
Executive General Manager, Defence Gavin Campbell said:
As a trusted and experienced Australian Prime to the Department of Defence, the collaboration framework will enable the organisation to provide value for money outcomes for Defence and leverage their passion for collaboration to deliver optimal solutions for clients.
From a solution that reduced manual lifting of power cables that vessels connect to after docking, to the development of an invasive marine species removal vacuum system, to the delivery of a pre-employment program for Indigenous jobseekers in the Northern Territory, innovation through collaboration is being delivered daily in our Defence business.
"With over 70 years' history of innovation for this client, we harness the ingenuity of industry partners, technology and data to continually do better than we've done before," Mr Campbell said. "Signing on as foundation member with ICW will ensure we're building an open, consistent customer service approach for our client, as this embeds a collaborative framework into all our business processes."
Managing Director ICW Australia Brett Ackroyd says they were pleased to welcome Ventia as a Foundation member, as Ventia has demonstrated a proven track record in achieving outcomes for clients through collaborative working.
"As a company they're committed to delivering service excellence to stakeholders, and emphasise client focus, innovation and commitment to sustainability," Mr Ackroyd says. "These priorities align with collaborative working as a business discipline, as they keep people at the centre of success."
We look forward to working with Ventia to leverage the benefits of collaborative working in Australia and welcome them as thought-leaders into our Executive Network Advisory Council and wider community of practice.
