As part of our Better You program, we’re launching Hydration Month to drive awareness of the importance of hydration for our Defence clients and teams. With displays and educational initiatives rolled out across Defence Bases, Camps, and Ventia Corporate Offices, we’re turning science into actionable steps.

Leading this charge is Dalija Jovanovic, the Defence Base Services Clinical Dietitian and ambassador of the Better You program. With her expertise in evidence-based nutrition and human performance, Dalija empowers personnel to prioritise hydration for sustained focus, energy, and resilience.

Hydration Month is just one pillar of our Better You program, which champions Nutrition, Hydration, Sleep, and Exercise to help Defence teams perform at their best. From crafting over 3.8 million meals a year tailored for physical endurance to replacing sugary drinks with healthier alternatives—we deliver healthier outcomes and continue to redefine the standard for Defence catering and well-being.

We encourage everyone to hydrate their way throughout the year, aim for eight glasses a day, and make informed choices that sustain performance and well-being.
