Ventia's M5 East Motorway project team based in Arncliffe, NSW, have received ISO 55001 Asset Management certification by the British Standards Institute (BSI).

Introduced in 2014, ISO 55001 represents best practice in asset management.

Ventia is one of the first services companies in Australia to achieve certification to the standard.

Earlier this year, another Ventia-managed site, the Brisbane AirportLinkM7, also received ISO 55001 certification.

Ventia manages the M5 East Motorway on behalf of the NSW Government's Roads and Maritime Services.

An estimated 155,000 vehicles use the road each day.
